
Can I eat brie that I have previously cut that is now growing white fuzz on the exposed part?
About a week ago I cut some of my brie to eat, but now the exposed parts are growing white fuzz. Is that part still safe to eat?
Just wipe it or cut it off, and enjoy, or if in doubt wrap in phyllo dough and bake for a few minutes until dough is browned. A little cheese mold never hurt anyone, free penicillian..
